Synopsis:

The story takes place in a temporary hospital launched into crisis by a rebel attack. Dr. Lee Hok-yan, a veteran surgeon, and Jeff, a young engineer suspended from medical school due to misconduct, find themselves trapped together in the mortuary. Observing patients hovering on the brink between life and death, they waver between giving up and persevering, ultimately reaching a profound epiphany about life.

Having everything go smoothly is a dream, but overcoming a path full of thorns is true ambition. Only when you understand the weight of life can you reflect on how easily you once gave up.

Meanwhile, Sai Siu-ching, a survivor of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom rescued by Wang Five years ago, earnestly tries to persuade him to retreat from public life and retire to the mountains...

Stuck between brotherhood, loyalty in the martial arts world, and national devotion, Wang Five stands on a razor's edge. What choice will he ultimately make? And how will Empress Dowager Cixi deal with them?

Playwright: Melody YUEN

Main actors: Joey LEUNG, Edmond TONG, Luna SHAW, KWOK Siu-kit, LAI Chai-ming, Feuillade LEUNG

Synopsis:

The story describes a city filled with countless people in need of being heard. They seek neither advice nor comfort, but simply a space to vent their unprovoked grievances.

Fong Dong Bar (Bar Debauchery) is run by a middle-aged man who dresses in women's clothing and calls himself the landlady. She recruits four newcomers—Plum, Orchid, Chrysanthemum, and Bamboo—who make a living by 'listening,' dreaming of striking it rich in the city.

There are no real names here, only true stories.

Sometimes when you want to speak, no one is willing to listen. If genuine listening comes with a price tag, how much would you be willing to pay?
